GREAT LEADERSHIP AND VICTORY OF MORCI AND DÍAS AT THE VUELTA IBIZA MTB

The pair of the BUFF-MEGAMO TEAM formed by José Días and Enrique Morcillo participated last April 7,8 and 9 in the well-known Vuelta Ibiza MTB.
The participants have lived three days of dream on the island of Ibiza where the extreme hardness of the routes, the prevailing heat during the three stages and the great competitiveness have dominated and defined this edition.
In the first stage Morcillo and Dias pedaled several kilometers with a group of pairs and finally managed to gain advantage in the most technical sections to consolidate the victory of the day and the leadership of the race.
The second day was very special for Enrique Morcillo as the start was from the town where he lives. The pair started out conservatively, remaining in the first group and with 5kms to go they imposed a pace that allowed them to take first place, breaking away from the other riders and consolidating their lead in the race.
The third stage was the fastest of all. Where the three favorite pairs rode the entire stage together almost to the end. Morcillo and Dias finally came in 3rd place but maintaining the lead and achieving the leadership of the overall standings.
Congratulations for this well deserved first place and this couple that although they had not competed together for a long time, they have been able to understand each other perfectly and demonstrate their talent.
