HUGO DRECHOU TAKES FIRST PLACE IN THE SCOTT MARATHON BY CONTINENTAL

This weekend took place one of the most important events in the cycling sector: Sea Otter Europe. Girona was once again the setting for the various races that make up this event, including the well-known SCOTT Marathon by Continental.
In addition to being present in the expo area with the Megamo stand, so was the BUFF-Megamo Team, which did not want to miss one of the most prestigious UCI XCM events.
After 61 km on the trails of Girona and the wet terrain left by the rain the night before, Hugo Drechou was the first to cross the finish line. Right behind him, Peeter Pruus consolidated second place, taking the silver medal with him.
It wasn't long before we saw three of our team riders on the podium, but after a small mishap before the finish, José Días finished in fourth place behind Robert Bou of the Cannondale team.
As for the rest of the runners, Txell Figueras did very well and finished in fourth position, also very close to the podium.
Guillem Cassú won the Scott Marathon Spanish Cup after racing in Cambrils, Navas del Marqués and Sea Otter Europe. In both Cambrils and Navas del Marqués, Guillem took first place and the leader's jersey of this edition.
Enrique Morcillo also competed to be in the top positions in the SCOTT Marathon by Continental, finally entering the TOP10 of the overall classification.
