SILVER FOR PABLO AND BRONZE FOR ROSA IN HER FIRST DEBUT WITH THE TEAM

La Leyenda de Tartessos has been the first race of the season in which the BUFF - MEGAMO TEAM has participated, marking a promising start for 2024. This UCI S2 marathon category race took place in the province of Huelva with a total of 4 stages and covering 245 km with an impressive cumulative elevation gain of 5000 m.
José Días, Enrique Morcillo, Pablo Rodríguez and Rosa Van Doorn were the four riders of the team that competed wearing the new colors and the new Track. Both Pablo and Rosa faced the race with great enthusiasm, as it was their first debut with the BUFF - MEGAMO TEAM and their first participation in La Leyenda de Tartessos. Both rode an impeccable race throughout the four stages.
The riders of the team approached the race from less to more, with José Días achieving two consecutive stage victories and Rosa, three victories. The first contact of the year and the debut of Pablo Rodríguez and Rosa Van Doorn were very positive, both getting on the podium of the general classification (second place for Pablo and third for Rosa). Also highlighting the exceptional teamwork throughout these days, with special recognition to the efforts of José Días and Enrique Morcillo, who took great responsibility at key moments to support their teammates.
In the general classification, these were the results:
• Pablo Rodríguez, 2nd
• Rosa Van Doorn, 3rd
• José Días, 4th
• Enrique Morcillo, 9th
The team returns home with excellent sensations and a lot of satisfaction for the results obtained. The exceptional performance of the new Track is highlighted, with numerous praises for its new design.
The next challenge of the season is the Mediterranean Epic, a race that the team faces with high expectations and great enthusiasm after this successful debut in La Leyenda de Tartessos.
