SINCE 1987

MORE THAN 30 YEARS OF HISTORY1987 / 1993Mégamo in its beginnings or Megamo nowadays, began its steps in 1987, establishing its base in Girona. It soon began to be known thanks to its successes in the competitions of biketrial and BTT of the highest level in the years '90, becoming the reference brand and precursor of the MTB in Europe.

Quality, design and technological innovation at highly competitive prices has been the premise of Megamo since its inception until today.

MEGAMO LIBERTO 2000 / 2010 Year focused on the competition for the development of bicycles, we started the mythical team Megamo Liberto, precursor of the MTB in Spain and Europe, which brought together the Spanish champion Juan Carlos Garro, the brothers Oscar and Lluís García, Miquel Campasol, Pau Bartoló and Eduard Ayats among many others. World champion Margarita Fullana also joined this team. Megamo Liberto focused on the state calendar and the European World Cup events, in all styles, winning countless trophies in its wake.

PASSION FOR CYCLING 2000 / 2010

After the great success in the competition, we decided to expand our range gradually to be a brand that covers all types of cyclists. From our first double suspension bike, the Top Rally, to the first carbon bikes. Always thinking of promoting cycling at all levels.

MEGAMO UCI FACTORY TEAM 2011 / 2019 All the design and development of our models is done in our Technical Department together with our racing teams. The Megamo UCI Factory Team, allowed us to improve a lot and at the same time meet the latest market trends through an exhaustive and detail-focused methodology. A clear example of our commitment to competition and development was our participation in the first UCI E-BIKE championship, the World E-bike Series. As far as MTB is concerned, we achieved important victories such as Salamina 2020 or Titan Desert 2020.

WE’RE STILL ON THE TOP PRESENT 2021 / PRESENT With the aim of continuing to link the brand with competition and adventure, a new project is born: The BUFF®-MEGAMO Team. Is a team mainly focused on the Marathon Mountain Bike Races (XCM) which has already competed in the most prestigious international stage races, such as the Cape Epic, the Andalucía Bike Race or the 4 Islands. The desire of both brands to go one step further in their trajectory and expand worldwide, has resulted in this MTB team that in any case closes any door to other cycling disciplines such as XCO, Gravel or Road in the future. The team consists of 8 bikers and the technical staff, among which we find 6 different nationalities. Both Megamo and BUFF® share certain values that will be key to achieving our goals. We are sure that the team will offer us exciting races and great triumphs demonstrating to the world the capacity of our product. We want to be a team that inspires people to live more outdoor moments enjoying cycling and the outdoor world. MEET THE TEAM
